Wegher Construction has been building homes throughout Siouxland for over 20 years and is the builder of choice in both the Dakota Dunes Country Club and Wynstone communities.

Wegher Custom Homes and WD Homes have a vested interest in designing better homes and neighborhoods that resonate with today's lifestyles. We are locally owned, live in the community, and contribute to its prosperity and quality of life through our work and community service.

Rick Wegher, founder of Wegher Construction, is a native of Sioux City and has spent his entire career in the home building business building impressive higher-end homes, some of which exceeded 14,000 square feet.

In 2003, Rick decided to launch two separate home brands: Wegher Custom Homes and WD Homes. Wegher Custom Homes will continue to focus on the higher end designer homes. These homes are personalized to the customer's precise specifications and are in a class of their own. WD Homes would focus on offering more value per dollar than other builders in town. By combining the building expertise of both companies, it allows the combined entity to create superior long-term relationships with the best and most skilled construction craftsman in town and more favorable volume based purchasing agreements with its suppliers.
